Papai, little people from Macau!

Finally, the "papai" party of Chinese from Macau...it was useful this experience, of living 4 months with some people so different from you...but I don´t think I would repeat it.."Papai" (how you read it, because for sure you don´t write it like that) means the English "bye bye".

They invited more friends than at the usual dinners of almost every evening, I think there were more than 20 people in the small living room...

When I got home, in the evening, they were all there and singing something :-)...they invited me to taste some of the dishes, and to drink sangria they prepared; they were nice. They are disorganised and noisy, but never bad intentioned, just very, very different. I stayed a little with them, even if I didn´t understand what they were singing and talking, it was no need...

There was one of the Chinese girls that I won´t forget (the nice one, as me and Ovidiu used to call her), even if she wasn´t older than 21-22 years, she was so mature, empathic, and she was trying to comunicate with us, even if it was more difficult, because of the cultural differences. A different person, but which knew how to show that she cares :-). Sweety...before leaving, we gave each other some simbolic presents and she told me she´ll miss me...I´ll miss her too, in a way...

What makes them strong, the Chinese, but probably the Asian people in general, is also the fact that they are very united between them, not like some of us, Europeans, which we´re more individualistic...
