Guide and tourist in Lisbon :-)

Last weekend should of been the IRW (International Reception Weekend) in Lisbon, where it was supposed to be participating the trainees in Portugal. But as there were very few applications, just 3, it didn´t take place anymore. This doesn´t mean that we didn´t do interesting things...

An Indian trainee from Coimbra came, Gaurav, and we went to visit some places in Lisbon, and not only. Me, Ovidiu, Gaurav and 2 guys from AIESEC Lisboa Nova, Bianca and Henrique, we met on Saturday afternoon and started the tour in Baixa Chaido, the downtown, we went up to the tower of the Santa Justa elevator (Elevador de Santa Justa) from where you can have a great view over Lisbon. Then we took a walk on the streets of Baixa.

In the evening we invited Gaurav at a Romanian dinner, at our place, where we drank of course also a little glass of "tuica" (Romanian strong drink).

Afterwards, as it was Saturday evening , what could of being more appropriate than Bairoo Alto :-)...we called more AIESEC-ers, am we were heading to Bairro with one of the guys´s car. There we met also some trainees and we started to search for a Fado place (Gaurav hasn´t been yet at Fado in Lisbon, just in Coimbra - and neither did we :D). We finally found one and entered...to be continued in the next post...
